A private professional practice in Orange looking for an interested pre-optometry (or recent graduate who will be applying to optometry school) student to intern in their office.

Schedule is flexible and no previous experience is necessary. Previous students who have worked in this position have been accepted into optometry, medical, physician assistant, nursing, and pharmacy school. Duties will include patient interaction, scheduling, phones and pre-testing of patients. This is an amazing chance to acquire valuable experience in an optometric setting!

EyePacs is looking for a researcher that would be responsible for data management, obtaining consents, maintaining collection files, assisting with data analysis and generating correspondence, and retinal photography. The Research Assistant will demonstrate communication, accountability, flexibility/adaptability, judgment/problem solving, customer service and core values while fulfilling job duties.

Some other duties and responsibilities:

Retinal photography with a fundus camera and smartphone
Records data, stores data, coordinates collection with research staff as needed
Maintains contact with project stakeholders to provide project updates
Performs various record-keeping tasks such as filing consent forms and other data collection forms on all eligible participants to ensure ease of data retrieval and tracking of participants

-This is a part time position, with a starting rate of $18/hr. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
